I tried this combination yesterday and OMG! The lemon curd sauce was to die for! The flavor of fresh lemons just burst into your mouth and was amazing! It felt like a jolt of big flavor, without the acidity of the lemons, just the flavor we love so much about lemons! Truly awesome! The cake was wonderful as well, without the sauce. I am not normally a sauce person, so for me to say that this sauce was amazing, trust me, it was! I think we will now always strongly recommend this combination to everyone who buys this cake!
