3/4pound boneless beef round steak, trimmed and cubed
1tablespoon vegetable oil
4medium potatoes, peeled, cut into 1 inch cubes
5medium carrots, cut into 1 1/2 inch chunks
1each celery stalks, cut into1 inch chunks
1large onion,, cut into 1 inch chunks
14 1/2ounces tomatoes, stewed, canned
3tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
1teaspoon browning sauce
1x black pepper
1cup frozen green peas


1. In a Dutch oven, brown the steak in oil.

2. Add the next eight ingredients; cover and bake at 300 degrees for 4-5 hours, stirring twice.

3. Add the peas during the last 30 minutes of baking.
