Glucose Tablets for Hypoglycemia
Many diabetics are now becoming more aware of the importance of glucose tablets, if you acquired type1 or type 2 DM, you should know by now that the normal level of blood sugar is between 70-110 mg/dl. And a person is considered as “hypoglycemic” if his or her blood sugar drops below 60 mg/dl. Normally, the body will compensate and will try to “counter” the gradual or sudden drop of blood-glucose levels by releasing the hormone called “glucagon”. This special chemical converts the stored glucose in the liver to be utilized as a “ready-to-use” sugar, which will be released in the blood to correct hypoglycemia.
